Get-together at Bolghatty Palace, Ernakulam On 26-11-2006

Yielding to popular demand, a get together of ourbatch will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on November 26(Sunday) at the KTDC-run Bolgatty Palace,Kochi. There was tremendous interest to the first gettogether organised in July at Hotel Circle Manor,Kochi. The heritage hotel is located in Bolghatty Island(also called Mulavukad), about a kilometre from theHigh Court. With the access road through the Goshree bridge in bad condition, the hotel has agreed to send a boat which can pick up people from the boat jetty near the High Court. Regular passenger ferries too ply to Bolghatty and charge just Rs 2 per head. The hotel has sprawling lawns and is spread over manyacres of land, overlooking the backwaters. It is a favourite picnic spot for Kochiites, since it is cutoff from the city. A welcome drink will be followed by a lavish lunch and finally tea. We can organise cultural programmes, and gifts will be given to kids. Please bring along Rs 300 per head.
